When Christ called the disciples, he did not go searching the synagogues and temple schools for those who were called the best and brightest of their generations. Instead he went to the places where all the people gathered, looking for those whose hearts would be opened by God. Jesus sought the disciples out knowing that all of us carry the potential for God’s grace to live in our hearts.
I would invite you to come join us, along with Christians around the world, on this journey of discovering life as God meant it to be, not scarred by insecurity, anger and fear, but to be lifted up by the promises of God's healing and love. As Brethren, we seek the gospel alive today, sharing forgiveness, hope, and healing with each other and the community around us. We believe that God is working in every human heart, preparing us to be a people seeking the redemption of creation, that it might be called good today..
It is for this reason that Jesus called the disciples, and is calling us today. Jesus wants us to join him in his journey. And so he frees us from the sin that holds us back, these things that prevent us from living in love with God and the people around us. He teaches us the ways of his salvation. We gather in worship, fellowship, study, and service so that Jesus’ prayer might be alive among us. “God's Kingdom come, God's will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
We hope you will join us as we all seek to live out Jesus’ calling in our lives, and be a people of God's grace together.
